Dr. Amit Keshri is presently serving as Associate Professor Neuro-otology, Department of Neurosurgery, Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, India. Dr. Keshri graduated (MBBS) from B J Medical College, Ahmedabad, India and received his Master in Otolaryngology Degree from B J Medical College Ahmedabad, India. He has received his Neuro-otology training from SGPGI, Lucknow. He has done UICC fellowship in Endoscopic Skull Base surgery from University of Malaya, Malaysia. He has also received American academy of Otolaryngology fellowship and been trained as visiting physician in House Ear Institute, Los Angeles, California(USA) for Neuro-otology and lateral skull base surgery.
Dr.Keshri contributions include -establishing a well developed Cochlear Implant services, including diagnostic, operative and rehabilitative services for patients suffering from Profound hearing loss. Establishied the first recognised course of Post Doctoral certificate course in Neuro-otology. He has established multidisciplinary endoscopic skull base surgery in the Department of Neurosurgery. He is the author of more than 50 publications, including original papers, reviews, book chapters and editor of book. His main research work has been in the areas of otology, neuro-otology and skull base surgery including tumors of paranasal sinus.
Dr Keshri received fellowship and Awards including Junior Consultant Award paper in UPAOICON 2013. London Temporal Bone Course and fellowship at Guys and St Thomas' hospital London 2013.Best temporal bone dissector award in Cochlear Implant workshop at Aiims Patna 2014.Best paper award ISNOCON 2014.UICC Fellowship in 2015 and AAO-HNS Fellowship in 2016.He has been an invited faculty for more than 30 national and international conference and workshops. His podium paper in on Juvenile nasopharngeal Angifibroma was adjudged one of the best presentations of American Academy National conference in 2018.
He is an active member of American Academy of Otolaryngology, Association Otolaryngologist of India, Indian Society of Otology and NES of India. He is presently the secretary of Neuro-otological and Equilibriometric Society of India (NES) and President elect of Uttar Pradesh chapter of Association of Otolaryngologist of India. He is on editorial board of various national journals.
